I know for me it can be so hard to take the time for myself. Y’all it is so important to prioritize time for yourself and build the business you’re really passionate about even when it’s hard, there are other things to do that are here to aid us in accomplishing the goals we have for our business.
Your message means so much more than just the logo you slap over a graphic. And in almost every part of building a business, it’s tempting to just jump straight to the fun things and not really build the solid foundations. But taking time to lock down your messaging will be key for your business’ success in the future.
So what does messaging entail?
I’m not sure about y’all but it can be really confusing to figure out what “good” messaging is. Simply put, messaging is how we communicate the problem you solve, the solution you offer, AND the person you’re helping not only by the words you use and the personality you put out there. Visuals are the extra fun we have on top of the hard work we have put into our work!
In constructing and deciding on your proper messaging, the first question you should ask yourself is”what is the biggest takeaway?”
Ideally, figure out what the biggest takeaway is and what are the key feelings you want someone to have when they encounter you. When we understand this, we can create content that matches that energy.
The key to great branding, content, selling, and beyond is being overwhelmingly clear and focused on our messaging and how we present it to people. This is why I always preach about coaching programs! Not only do they help keep us on track with accountability but they’re a fantastic way to bounce ideas off a group of folks going through the same thing!
