I’m Getting in Your Wallet: The Steps I Took Financially to Quit My Job

Jan 20, 2021

Financial objectives

In this episode I talk about everyone’s least favorite part, the money it will take to start your business. This is the most common barrier for people not starting their own business. Some may fear quitting their job over money, but I break down how I did it and how anyone can do it. I am no accountant or financial wiz, but I think that anyone who wants a general idea on how creating your own business can be a reality with the right tools and mindset.

In today’s episode, I talk about:

  • How I was using money to make me happy to makeup for my unhappiness at work
  • Setting realistic goals financially and job wise (aka my quit date)
  • Budgeting tips and tricks that helped me quit faster
  • Overcoming worries/barriers that made me doubt myself (loans, payments, etc.)
